About Ignite 2012
The Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation (MJYF) will celebrate 20 years of service to the Atlanta community. Founded in 1992 by the late Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson, MJYF has helped train hundreds of young Atlanta leaders. The mission of the MJYF is to build the foundation for youth today to become leaders of tomorrow. Since 1992, the Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation has positively impacted the lives of youth in the metro Atlanta area.
The evening will begin with cocktails before the start of the awards ceremony. Guests will then enter the Rich Theatre for a brief but powerful program recognizing MJYF scholars as well as individuals who have demonstrated leadership, vision and commitment to their communities.
Following the awards ceremony, guests will move to the Taylor Lobby where all will be treated to lively music, refreshing cocktails and an amazing food bazaar that showcases the diversity of Atlanta's vibrant food scene.
