My thoughts on Chinese people before I left was like most people are. I thought they were all short, geniuses, rude, and sadly that they were bad drivers. I thought I would go to China and be a giant but I was sadly mistaken I was average height maybe even below average I saw some really tall people there it think more than I saw shorter people. Because we stayed in school and with other students we met some pretty smart people but I think the logic is just different than I’m used to in America. We stayed in Beijing one of the most populated cities in the world and to be honest there people on the street were rude but while in Deng Feng which Is sorta in the country people were a lot nicer although they stared and took pictures of us. There is a stereotype that Chinese are bad drivers and I can say that if they were in America they would be really bad drivers but I can safely say I have seen more car crashes in America than I did in China in the same amount of time. Some of the perceptions are true and some aren’t but I have learned that it’s true you can’t judge a book by its cover or in this case a people by its stereotypes.
