Being at The Great Wall of China was indescribable, and climbing it felt so surreal. Learning about its purpose as a protective barrier, and the ancient history of how it was built was compelling. There were countless steep steps to take, but as I got closer to the top I couldn’t help but to push on further. Although the sky in Beijing was cloudy and misty, once I finally arrived to the very top I was able to see the captivating view of mountains and city life from the top tower of the Ming Dynasty. As I stood gazing at the breath-taking scenery, I felt a sense of determination, ambition, and accomplishment. I certainly will remember this experience for a lifetime.
