Climbing the Great Wall of China

Climbing the Great Wall was an overwhelming experience. I was overjoyed to see the Great Wall,let alone climb it. I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into before we started climbing. I could see people in the distance actually crawling on all fours. This was kind of funny to me, and I knew that I had to try it. While it was very steep and difficult, climbing the wall was a task that I knew I had to finish. I couldn’t go that far to give up. I think that is what this particular experience taught me. Don’t give up just because something gets a little difficult. Push through it and you will be successful.
