Today we left to meet the new experiences that awaited us in Henan. The flight wasn’t very long and once we left the airport I knew that Henan would be amazing. As soon as you step out of the airport you see the clear skies and mountains in the distance. Our hotel had an amazing view of Henan’s beautiful landscapes. Once we got settled in at the hotel, we hit the ground running and left for our introductions to our adventures.
We went to the opening ceremony where we saw lively performances. We saw martial arts, instrument, and even singing performances. One of my favorite performances was the one where the many created intricate designs using sand and his hands IMG_1789.I guess the saying if you have lemons make lemonade was taken very seriously for that artist. I also enjoyed the fan dances performed in the opening ceremony, they were graceful yet powerful. All in all, the opening ceremony was engaging as well as informational. I can’t wait to enjoy the new experiences Henan holds for me.
