Homestay

During my homestay visit in Lou Yang I met 2 wonderful people, HuangYuWen and FangWenPei. Their grandparents, parents, and little brother welcomed me into their home, where I made pound and pounds of dumplings, watched typical Chinese television, played Wii tennis, and ultimately ate dinner with them. These girls were very informative as they explained the everyday life of a teenage girl in China. We bonded so well that I almost didn’t want to leave at the end of the day. However I was lucky enough to receive their emails and Instagram so we have definitely been in contact since I’ve been back home and I’m all the happier because of it.
