My Home Stay

My home stay was great. I  got to truly go out and experience a day in the life of a native  Chinese family. I was surprised to find out that they are very similar to American families in many ways. We had a delicious meal for lunch including fish, dumplings, tofu, corn, and greens. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Then they took me to view the Yellow River. This was especially exciting for me because I would always hear about the river in class but I actually got to view it which was pretty cool. Finally, we went to the mall and just enjoyed each other’s company. I will never forget my home stay with such a kind hearted family.
