Personally my comfort zone is an essential however while being in China , I have learned to become much more humble and open too changes that weren’t directly in my control. This experience as an whole has shown me how grateful I truly am . I am more humble internally because I have come to the realization that the things I consider an necessity truly isn’t to people who are in other parts of the world. Comparing the simply way of life the Chinese live honestly Americans wouldn’t be able to go from having dryers and the simple use of youtube at their fingertips. Environmental changes by far were the most difficult thing to adapt too. Not having access to western restrooms or even simply cleaning with actual cleaning supplies not just wiping the area was by far the most difficult thing to handle. Throughout my stay in China it became edvident to me that their eveyday life style was their “normal”, In which made me think about they way they view our American lifestyle having washers and dryers and even drinking cold beverages . Although throughout the trip there were constantly changes in which took me out of my comfort zone , It was an true learning experience . Being across the world made me come to the realization that making assumptions of they way others live in another Country may live until you actually emerge into their world .
