The MJYF Experience

This year MJYF have me an amazing summer . They kept me educationally fulfilled as well as keeping me intrigued and excited with out boring me. I participated in college tours, SAT prep classes, and my favorite my trip to China. Me going to China has expanded my view on the word leaving me internationally minded. I now not only think about Atlanta Georgia, I think about the world in every aspect. China has forced me to see the importance I hard work and perseverance. There were days where I didn’t want to get out out of bed due to me not being as rested as I’m used to being, however, I promised myself I wouldn’t take my experience for granted because many teenagers-adults my age will never have this experience. I can’t express my gratitude enough. I work even harder in all of my classes especially my Chinese class where I apply myself even more. All in all, thanks MJYF for an amazing summer.  I am honored to be apart of this group.
